Hiring a bilingual event host in Paris for a brand event
For an international agency, booking a Paris event MC means finding both the right on-stage presence and someone who can work with your production team. A useful brief defines the performance and the preparation behind it.
01
Define the MC’s role
Guest welcome, pre-show announcements, speaker introductions, awards hosting and red-carpet interviews are different assignments. List each required intervention and say whether moderation is also expected. Technical show calling and security are separate responsibilities.
02
Check French and English delivery
Ask for performance footage in both languages. Define the audience, English-only segments and bilingual announcements. Translating every sentence can slow the programme; language sequencing should follow your guests and each segment’s purpose.
03
Align the host with your brand
Share approved key messages, sponsor names, tone of voice and topics to avoid. Agree dress code, permitted interviews and confidentiality requirements with production. An elegant delivery starts with a precise brief.
04
Prepare your Paris event from overseas
An English-language briefing can take place before your crew travels. Confirm Paris local event times, meeting time zones and approval deadlines in writing. Supply a clearly versioned run of show and script pack so everyone prepares from the same material.
05
Compare quotations on an equivalent scope
The fee reflects attendance, preparation, languages, rehearsal and travel. Distinguish script review from additional writing or translation. Agree the deliverables and booking terms before confirming the date.
