Bilingual event host pricing: what to include in your quote request

Two events with the same show length may need different preparation. To compare MC proposals, define the interventions and attendance required before doors open.

01

Separate show length from attendance

Specify call time, soundcheck, rehearsals, doors open and release time. A two-hour show can require a longer attendance window; the proposal should make this scope clear.

02

Define languages and script work

Identify French, English and bilingual segments. Explain whether copy is already approved and translated. Review, adaptation, writing and translation are separate tasks to agree. English-only hosting may involve an adjusted fee.

03

Clarify travel and additional services

Any travel and accommodation arrangements should be detailed in the quotation. Sound equipment or catering may be available through the team and should be requested as separate services.

04

Allow preparation time before booking

Contact Yves at least three weeks ahead, ideally one month. Supply date, venue, languages, guest count and any running order. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking; availability and terms are agreed during the exchange.
